Alex Niemegeers obtained his
physics engineering degree at the Universiteit Gent in 1993.

Alex Niemegeers has been full-time researcher at the Universiteit Gent until july 31 1998. His research field was modelling of polycrystalline thin film solar cells, especially CdTe and CuInSe2 solar cells.
